What's up Oppo? Update: I forgot to grab network drivers before wiping it.

I’ve got old Top Gear episodes, a fresh install of Wondows, and some beer (not seen in photo). Here’s hoping I don’t brick my laptop.

I’ve got wood, a fire and plenty of Scotch and beer.  Check and mate.

I've been running errands all day. Now is the time for doing nothing.

I’m playing with my cat, looking up random FIAT 126p and Piaggio Ape info / videos online and having a bowl of Harvest Crunch Apple Crumble cereal as a snack :)

I’m surprised you ran into network driver issues, modern Windows seems to do pretty well in terms of having something that will work. Certainly better than the XP era where you were always having to load shit off floppies (or create modified install discs with the extra drivers).

After 2+ hours Im left with a laptop that refuses to acknowledge the existence of the internet. I have the drivers installed and it still won’t see any wifi networks. My USB to Ethernet adapter doesn’t work either.

That’s... bad. I assume the wifi was working before?

Still broken? I’m sure this can be solved. I’ve been there before....

After about 8 hours of going nowhere I eventually got my Ethernet adapter working. Then I was able to make Windows find the right Wifi drivers (every single one on Dells website is wrong). Everything seems to be working ok now.
